M.Kumarasamy College of Engineering (MKCE) is proud to have an innovative B.Tech in Artificial Intelligence & Data Science program in collaboration with International Business Machines (IBM). Additionally, this ground breaking program commenced during the academic year 2020 and aims to prepare students for the ever-evolving landscape of AI and DS.

Program Overview

Generally, this program explores the vast potential of the Internet, leveraging Artificial Intelligence& Data Science to provide data-driven solutions using computational principles, methods, and systems. Hence, the goal is to extract valuable information from data, employing modern computational systems that emulate the capabilities of human intelligence.

Objective

The primary objective of the course is to provide students with complete knowledge practical applications in the field of AI and DS. Further, the focus is on training the students to perform intelligent data analysis, a key component in numerous real-world applications.

B.Tech in Artificial Intelligence & Data Science Program Details

1. Duration: 4 years (Regular) / 3 years (Lateral Entry)
2. Number of Semesters: 8 (Regular) / 6 (Lateral Entry)
3. Eligibility: 10+2 system of Education. Candidates must have successfully completed their qualifying examination with passing grades in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.

Furthermore, Graduates of the program have the option to pursue higher studies such as M.E., M. Tech., M.B.A., or M.S. to further improve their skills in the field.
