Students and Faculty Innovation & Entrepreneurship

The MKCE-MSME Incubation Centre, approved as a host institute on January 5, 2020, has played a crucial role in supporting and nurturing innovative ideas and start-ups.

YUKTI Portal (Innovation Entry) Highlights

The YUKTI portal has been a pivotal platform for tracking and managing innovation entries. Over the past few years, MKCE has shown impressive participation and success in various MSME IDEA HACKATHONS:

  • 2021: MKCE submitted 457 ideas, with 451 assigned and 125 approved. Out of the 67 ideas submitted at Level 1 and 49 at Level 2, 2 ideas were approved, resulting in a grant of ₹17 lakhs from MSME.
  • 2022: The participation included 120 ideas at Level 1 and 100 at Level 2. Again, 2 ideas were approved, receiving ₹12.5 lakhs from MSME.
  • 2023: MKCE saw an increase in submissions with 156 ideas at Level 1 and 111 at Level 2. Of these, 2 ideas were approved, securing ₹20 lakhs from MSME.

Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Cell has overseen the submission of 1,083 innovations, with 763 approved. Additionally, 15 start-ups were submitted, all of which were assigned, and 8 were approved.
