The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering was stared in the academic year 2000 - 2001 with 60 intake, intake increased from 60 to 120 in the academic year 2009 - 2010, intake increased from 120 to 180 in the academic year 2013 - 2014. The PG Course with the specialization of Master of Power Systems Engineering was stared with 24 intake in the academic year 2012- 2013. EEE department has 5 laboratories venues with tremendous facility which is useful to conduct laboratory subject for UG and PG courses. Our department has Simulation Lab with 60 Computers provided with 54 Mbps of Internet Facility and it has various software like MATLAB, Mi-Power, AU Power, Lab view and Ride Software etc. Department library have 1553 volumes and 20 titles. Our department staff members published papers in various National and International Journals, in addition 7 Books are published in various publications. Our department have Qualified and experienced faculty with good Student Teacher Ratio (STR) and our students obtained University rank regularly. The department has been constantly producing illustrious Engineering graduates of high caliber who occupy prestigious positions in the academia and industrial fields.

After the successful completion of the B.E. Electrical and Electronics Engineering degree programme, the students will be able to:
PO1: Engineering knowledge: Apply the knowledge of mathematics, science, engineering fundamentals, and an engineering specialization to the solution of complex engineering problems.
PO2: Problem analysis: Identify, formulate, review research literature, and analyze complex engineering problems reaching substantiated conclusions using first principles of mathematics, natural sciences, and engineering sciences.
PO3: Design/development of solutions: Design solutions for complex engineering problems and design system components or processes that meet the specified needs with appropriate consideration for the public health and safety, and the cultural, societal, and environmental considerations.
